stickynotes applet: context menu doesn't work

every stickynote shown on the desktop has a context menu, which shows on a right click. since karmic, only a tiny rectangle (4x30 pixel) shows, and nothing is visible/clickable, thus no change of font, font-size or colour is possible.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

The other bug had to do with the properties window, but that seems to be working fine in Ubuntu 9.10. This bug is about the context menu.

This still happens in Lucid, gnome-applets 2.29.5.

It's happening to me too in Lucid, versión 2.30.0

still doesn't work in 2.30.0-_0ubuntu2
to be precise: it's the context-menu of the title-bar, where eg font or color can be chosen,
not the one within the text-area, this one does work (and did)

work around:

Meanwhile we can open at least the individual notes properties by double-click
into the titlebar of the note.

apparently fixed upstream not yet in ubuntu
