Bug Description
Binary package hint: portmap
Don't know what the problem might be in Karmic, but nfs-kernel-server does not start at boot, as described in https:/
If I
service portmap start
and
service nfs-kernel-server start
Then the services are started. If I don't start portmap, then starting nfs-kernel-server will hang.

Marking this as a duplicate of bug #455045; I think there's only one bug here of significance, so there's probably no need for two reports (and we can split them again later if it turns out I'm wrong).
