Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

i was having a good resolution when using kubuntu 9.04. after i upgraded to kubuntu 9.10 by following the instructions on kubuntu.com the max screen resolution that i can have is 800*600. i am using HP COMPAQ d530 small form factor pc. i am new to linux. please help out.

can you help me out. i just got ur KUBUNTU 9.10 CD by post. i installed it but same old problem. the screen resolution is not greater than 800*600. please help me out
