ubiquity dosen't ask for proxy settings

Bug Description

ubiquity does not ask you whether you have a proxy and if so the settings to use it. as a result if you are behind a proxy you are unable to talk to the mirrors so as well as having to wait for it to time out trying to talk to them you end up with every item in sources.list commented out, so for instance in adept you get no packages

the proxy information should also be saved so updating/installing will continue to work
