ImportError: No module named qt

Thanks for your bug. That's not a bug but a documented change:

hplip (0.9.6-1ubuntu2) dapper; urgency=low

  * Demote python-qt3 to Suggests (so we don't end up with python-qt3 in
    desktop)
  * Don't ship .desktop file.
  * Make hp-toolbox and hp-unload give helpful error messages if
    python-qt3 isn't installed.

The menu entry should be masked though
