Bug Description

Binary package hint: gcompris

Run gcompris, (latest version from Karmic)

Click on spanner icon to open preferences

deselect music and effects

Click "OK"

Gcompris hangs.

(I've also been getting lots of crashes in gcompris, which I have reported in a separate bug.)

GCompris 8.4.x is no more maintained anyway. Let's close that bug.

I think this was fixed in a later release. I certainly do not experience it. Please file a new ticket if you still run into this problem.
