Bug Description

In Ubuntu 9.10, the new splash screen when Ubuntu is first booted (the white Ubuntu Logo). It seems to me that it's to much like Vista's startup.

The problem with this is that I believe that Canonical could get sued for copyright infringement. Also it looks bad on Ubuntu, because Ubuntu is just trying to be a cheap windows, which it isn't.

I believe this needs to be fixed before for the release 9.10.

I agree with the same. Also it looks so plain at least there should be a progress indicator or a bar which rotates or something similar.
Also the icon doesn't seem to be centered as well.
