Bug Description
Current version of kcheckgmail (0.5.0-1) cannot log in to Gmail.com, upgrading to the latest upstream or Debian version solves this.
I had the same thing happen on my Debian system see bug #290658 at http://
This applet is very useful as it work under both Gnome & KDE.

While this bug was fixed in Breezy at one point by the merge of the version fixing the mentioned Debian bug, the protocol has since changed again, as logged in Debian as Bug #328515. A new upload is expected to address this issue.
