New ethernet connection does not appear in menu until nm-applet is restarted

Bug Description

I just added a new ethernet connection since at the place where I am at right now there is no DHCP. The connection editor displays it just fine, but afterwards the new connection does not appear in the nm menu, so you can't actually select it to connect to it.

They do appear after restarting nm-applet.
