apt_check.py crashed with SIGSEGV in pkgCache::FindPkg()

Binary package hint: update-notifier

in karmic beta is my first step to use: open a shell and do apt-get update/upgrade. apt-get msg: some packets are hold on.. i check on synaptic and install the hold-pakets (one paket was deinstall) and after the install and close the synaptic window it crashes

ps: i have the *.dep packet install. from www.opera.com.(10.0) after install i have the: http://deb.opera.com/opera/ (stable/non-free) in apt-get as entry.
