netbeans text corruption

Bug Description

when i scroll in my netbeans IDE, there is some text corruption. It looks like the lines are overlapping each-other. i tried the solution listed in http://forums.netbeans.org/topic4851.html, but this did not work. (screenshot of bug included in attachement)

As I understand from http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=6776352 this is a driver problem. Did you try to switch to XAA?

I finally found what was causing it, I was using a older version of netbeans(6.5). I installed the 6.8 beta and the text corruption was gone.
