Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla

Install of adobe flashplugin failed due to libnspr4-dev dependency not satisfied. Debian Flash Player package was selected for download and install.

Attached file shows screenshot dialogue box was captured. This was documented in a different bug report.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to help make Ubuntu better. However, it seems that you are not using a software package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. Please report this bug to the provider of the software package. Thanks!

We don't support the version from Adobe. Please contact Adobe or install flashplugin-installer from the Ubuntu repos. Please report any other issues you may have.

You'll find that link here: www.dell.com > For Home > Laptops & Minis > Help me choose (an Intel processor, upper left hand corner) > pop up instructing me to install Adobe Flash Player to view content.

Can something be coded that redirects a novice user to the software repository?
