Small persistance filesystem fills up on live cd boot

Bug Description

During my testing yesterday, I have noticed that UMR fills up the default size (128MB) persistence filesystem during boot, which then means that the boot fails since a lot of stuff then returns ENOSPC. I'm going to investigate this further and comment here.
