Bug Description
Information:
shortcuts with Super/Win Key does not be work for some actions:
like but might not be limited to:
Lock Screen
Home Folder
Works for others:
Run a Terminal
hide all window and focus desktop
default Alt/Win key behavior limits Super Key usage in Keyboard Shortcuts as a single key (can not used as Win+L as an example) although
"Super is mapped to the Win-keys (default)" is said to be the default
Steps to Reproduce:
0. Assigning a shortcut from Keyboard Shortcuts (System>
1. Set Alt/Win Key behavior (System>
2. In Keyboard Shortcuts (System>
Assign:
Lock Screen: Win Key +L : <mod4>l
Home Folder: Win Key+H : <mod4>h
Run a Terminal: Win Key+T : <mod4>t
3. Try the Shortcuts
"Lock Screen" and "Home Folder" actions will not work. Although "Run a Terminal" works.
This similarly happens to me, with the primary difference being that in Layout Options I set "Press any of Win-keys to choose 3rd level" (making mine <mod5>). That is the only Layout Option selected that is not default. The problem seems to only happen after I assign <mod5>t to Terminal, but even removing it does not allow other shortcuts to use <mod5>.
All the other shortcuts I've tried will not work with <mod5>, those being Search, Launch web browser, email, Home Folder, and Launch Calculator, and I suspect none of the others will work either. Changing these back to a non-<mod5> shortcut lets them work again, but even changing them back to <mod5> does not make it work.
If any more information is needed, I'll be pleased to help as much as I can.
