Bug Description

Since todays update to mozilla-thunderbird (1.5.0.2-0ubuntu1), Thunderbird says the language packs (in my case: thunderbird-locale-de (1:1.5.0.2ubuntu1-1) and tunderbird-locale-en-gb (1:1.5.0.2ubuntu1-1)) are not compatible and therefore disabled.

Running english language you won't see a difference, but you will in any other language: Thunderbird starts in english.

In Tools > Extensions you see the language packs are disabled.

The language packs have all been updated to match the current Tbird package, so if you update and upgrade again (and restart thunderbird) all should be well.

Am I the only one for who those updated language packs still haven't arrived?
(although sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade, using standard repos [but german mirrors, "deb http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper main restricted" and so on...])

BTW:
If you want to "fix" it yourself, it's easy:
Exit Thunderbird.
Edit /<email address hidden>/install.rdf
where XX stands for your language.
find this line:
<em:maxVersion>1.5.99/em:maxVersion>
and add the missing '<':
<em:maxVersion>1.5.99</em:maxVersion>

Open Thunderbirds Profile folder (~/.mozilla-thunderbird/qwertz.default) and rename the extensions.rdf (to backup it, it is regenerated automatic at TB start.)

Start Thunderbird. Language Pack should work again.
