Installer crashed at keyboard layout selection screen

Machine configration : Celeron 2GHz, Intel 845 chipset
Kernel : 2.6.12-9-386 (Ubuntu 5.10)

Previous installation : I have 2 HDDs . On one (80 GB) disk I have Ubuntu 5.10 installed.
When attempting to install Dapper beta 2, at step 4 of 7, I got the following traceback.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 41921, and is fixed in current daily builds (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/); please test if you can.

BTW, I don't know if you are to thank, but I would really like to thank the
Dapper development team.. as a former gentoo user, the switch to dapper has
made me very, very happy. it's by far the best distro i've used
