kat daemon stops automatically on Dapper

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kat

To reproduce
1) Install and start kat, answer wizard's questions
2) In wizard, start daemon by pressing button on the second question
What happens:
After wizard, catalogs are not indexed. Additionally, running daemon again from menu shows that daemon is not running.

Tested on 6.06 Dapper Flight, updated 2006-05-18. Kat 0.6.3-0ubuntu2.
