Windows 7 missing in grub

After kernel update today (15 mins back), Windows 7 is no longer listed in grub menu. It was listed prior.

And my ntfs partitions are not recognized now. I have the latest packages. Disk utility reports ntfs partitions as 'unknown or unused'!!

after latest linux-firmware update, everything works fine now.

Have similar problem after installing Alternate amd64 Ubuntu 9.10
During install Windows OS is found by GRUB but after reboot it is not shown in GRUB OS list

linusr: Thanks for confirming that the bug is fixed now.

Jevgenijs: Please don't mix your bug up with this one. It's better to file separate bugs and perhaps have them marked as duplicates, than to create confusion by causing one bug number to refer to multiple underlying problems.
