Can't connect with CouchDB - RuntimeError: Unable to find listening port

Bug Description

After I ran for the first time:
$ ubuntuone-client-applet --signup &

I had the follow error:

$ Apache CouchDB has started, time to relax.
Desktop CouchDB is not running; starting it. ...waiting for couchdb to start...
...waiting for couchdb to start...
...waiting for couchdb to start...
