Bug Description
Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
My HSDPA card is correctly identified (Novatel Wireless X950D), I configure it with the manage connections window, but when I try to start it up, it will say that it's initializing a connection, but then just fails silently. The same settings work fine with umtsmon, which is what I usually use. I can't get any debugging information out of knetworkmanager, so it's very difficult to provide a better bug report than this.

I have something very similar on Kubuntu 9.10; I upgraded and now my networkmanager settings that worked before don't work now.
I have the proper drivers for my Broadcom wireless card (wl) and it can see the network I want to connect to, signal strength and all... it just refuses to actually connect and keeps bugging me about 'secrets' (which are not the network password?). I have edited the settings many times and it still seems to think the password is a 128-bit hex key rather than a passphrase.
