Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

This bug is observed when the Application Switcher plugin is used on i945, with the Bring To Front option enabled. After switching to an application, its focused window will disappear for a fraction of a second, then reappear again. Seems to be 100% reproducible on my computer. Karmic beta, all packages are up to date.

I can confirm this for nvidia proprietary driver too. So this doesn't seem like a driver issue to me.

Thanks for your bug report. Is this still an issue with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal? May you please check and comment back? Thanks in advance!.

This issue was never fixed and still occurs with Precise.

Actually looking at the #862430 again, it doesn't seem like it's the same issue. Sorry for the incorrect duplicate annotation.
