Bug Description
I had the same problem with the 6.06Beta version see

The computer freezes while initializing peripheals.
Do not hesitate if you requiere any further information. I don't know exactly what to precise. I don't know which package it is. It simply does not work.
Please this is a major issue and it has been a long time since I am waiting for kubuntu to work on my imac G5.
