Khing, thanks for your bug report. Please could you tell us if you are running NetworkManager? It appears from the log files that the NetworkManager service could be reached, and this is a dependency of the Ubuntu One client. Thanks.

Thanks for your response. I'm using wicd as my network manager, as it is the easiest way to connect to my university's wireless network (it requires PEAP-GTC)

can ubuntuone be made to work with wicd?
