Thanks for reporting but this is not a bug. Karmic uses gnome 2.28 which does not display icons in menus by default. From http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/2.28/ :
"GNOME menus and buttons have been standardised across all applications to not display icons by default."

Changed in quick-lounge-applet (Ubuntu):
status:	New → Invalid
