Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

When I see the properties of a video file, the bitrate is always "Unknown" or "N/A".
This happens with all formats I have, such as H264, DivX MPEG-4 Version 5, XVID MPEG-4.

I've never seen a video bitrate different than "Unknown" or "N/A".

working fine here as well, that's probably coming from the codecs you're using there. any chance to attach an example to the report or give an url with an example? thanks.

This is a test file in divx, created with the first 512Kb of a video file.
Would you also like a h264 file?
