Bug Description

Binary package hint: userconfig

When adding a new user, a box to enter a password is provided, however a verification box for the password is not provided. As the password is (correctly) not in plaintext, mistyping could set an unwanted password.

This happens in Karmic daily iso 20091013.

Noticed this at some point but forgot about it. Almost certainly won't be implemented for Karmic, but maybe a backport. Thanks for reporting!

Changed in userconfig (Ubuntu):

Not knowing about this bug report I raised this issue again on Kubuntu forum:

Please, implement this feature, perhaps in next KDE release for Kubuntu, if possible.
