Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
The gnome-power-manager (2.28.0) has multiple problems on my netbook, but the most obvious nonsense is to report being charged at 720 Watts of my netbook AcerAspireOne 110L .
attached screenshots show graph type 'Rate'
cold boot on battery: after a cold boot. Reported Power of about 10+Watt seems reasonable.
plug-in/plug-out: at about 5.8min the netbook was plugged-in to power. The power jumps to 720Watt, which is obvious nonsense. At 2min the netbook was unplugged, and runs again on battery. After some blank period the graph continuous at about 10W.

I'm getting the same on my Acer Aspire 110L also.
Its also not the only gnome power problem I'm having in karmic, see bug #393008
