Bug Description
Binary package hint: usplash-
The default usplash (which has now been re-enabled by default) theme does not contain a progress bar. Additionally, the theme is grey-scaled. Both are regressions with respect to Jaunty.

This likely needs to be fixed in conjuction with bug 446596 for fsck progress reporting.
