Bug Description

Using Ubuntu 6.06 - Dapper Drake Beta 2.

On some systems with Intel graphic cards (depending on BIOS), modular Xorg completely and irreparably blanks display making system unusable and forcing reboot.

the patch of which I applied and uploaded yesterday:

  xorg-server (1:1.0.2-0ubuntu10) dapper; urgency=low

  * Backport a fix for Intel bridge handling:
  debian/patches/002_fix_for_certain_intel_chipsets.patch
  (Closes Ubuntu: #29880)
