Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

1) Operating System:
    Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
    Release: 9.10
    Grafical Desktop Environment: KDE 4.3.2

2) Source Package:
    firefox-3.0:
    Installiert: 3.0.14+build2+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
    Kandidat: 3.0.14+build2+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
    Versions-Tabelle:
    *** 3.0.14+build2+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

3) What I expected to happen:
    I called the following address
        https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1
and expected the content of the webpage to be displayed.

4) What really happend:
Firefox crashed after calling the address mentioned above.
The webpage wasn't visible before the crash. This fact makes it impossible to tell if the problem is related to a flash app
(what is a common problem) or not.

5) Additional information:
In some other cases - when NO CRASH OCCURED - the following message was displayed (instead of the page I called):
        Timeout error
Our edge server has a lower timeout threshold than launchpad.net, so we can catch those before they hit a wider
audience. As a member of the Launchpad Beta Testers team, you're more likely to experience them. If this is blocking
your work, you can disable redirection.

Sorry, something just went wrong in Launchpad.
We’ve recorded what happened, and we’ll fix it as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Trying again in a couple of minutes might work.

The stacktrace looks harmless enough, now that apport's retraced it.
