Hi,

I am unable to reproduce this on HPLIP version 3.9.8, however this is a problem that is upstream from us. You may want to refer this problem to the txt2ps filter team.

We simply process the data send from the filters in this case.

You may give it a try by installing HPLIP version 3.9.8 from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/index.html

Alternatively you may try printing ascii character by using a2ps
http://www.gnu.org/software/a2ps/

Thanks for your support of HPLIP

Regards
