Binary package hint: brasero

Actually I am not quite sure if this is related, as it sounds similar to bug #271263 or #405544. I try to burn a dvd but I get the following error:
An image could not be created (brasero_burn_record brasero-burn.c:2766)

Kernel: 2.6.31-12-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Wed Oct 7 19:37:12 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Brasero: amd64, Version: 2.28.1-0ubuntu1

It's reproducable so far, that I still cannot burn a DVD.
1. Start Braseros
2. Create a new data project
3. add some files (2 folders with a lot of subfolders)
4. Wait that space left is calculated
5. Set CD title to "Data and Pics"
6. Click [Burn]
7. Set "Max Speed", "[x] Brun the image directly", "[x] Use burnproof" and "[x] Eject after burning". Temporary files = "/tmp: 248.7 GB free" and click [Burn]
8. An error is raised. Here you go with the log file:

The errors regarding missing files (stderr) I had cause the project changed since I've tried the first time. however, if I remove all non-exiting files from the project and remove the ones that have problems, I still get the same error "An image could not be created (brasero_burn_record brasero-burn.c:2766) "

The same bug reported above still is impacting for me.

My environment is:

Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid)
Kernel 2.6.32-23-generic
Gnome 2.30.2
Brasero version 2.30.2

Unfortunately I have to say that as I am not able to use Brasero to burn my DVD/CD I am using K3b where at the moment is working properly.
