Bug Description
The /etc/skel directory needs some serious clean up.
At the very least, all /home/ubuntu references need to go.
Ideally, anything that isn't an essential configuration file would like to be kept on. (ie: logs files, cache directories, etc).
This is a major cause for some rather strange non-bugs with the current OS, such as the inability for desktop background to keep between sessions, and the inability for firefox to restore a saved session.
