Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

Not a huge deal but very annoying, an update of the new gdm during the last few days broke something that worked at least last week :-)

I have only one user. By default, I could just press "return" and then type my password. Nowadays, that doesn't
work anymore, the only user isn't pre-selected or "return" is ignored.

Confirming this bug as this also happens on my system. On my system it is not just return that is ignored by gdm, but also the cursor keys. I have two users, hitting Return to select the first user in the list does not work and I also cannot hit the down arrow to highlight the second user. Prior to a recent update this used to work.

I am confirming this bug as it also occurs on my system. Prior to a recent update, I could select the first user in the list using Return. Now this doesn't work. In addition, the down arrow will no longer highlight the second user in the list, so it appears that gdm is not processing keyboard input.
