thanks for the bug report. its been a while since this bug was reported and there has been no duplicates or anyone else affected by this issue. is this still an issue for you?

This is a crash report, not a bug report, and the reporter said "I really don't know what get crashed". So "Is this still an issue for you?" is not really a useful question.

Fortunately, we now have a much better system for dealing with crash reports. <https://errors.ubuntu.com/> And Ubuntu 9.10 reached End of Life on October 23 2010, so I shall close this report. If you experience the same problem with a current version of Ubuntu (12.04, 12.10, or 13.04), the best thing you can do is to make sure "Send an error report to help fix this problem" is checked. Thanks.
