Me TV hangs if no video/audio streams are available

Some tv stations in Britain are part-time (i.e. some only transmit at night, some only during the day).

If me-tv was last used on a night-time channel, and is then switched on during the day, it seems to lock up. I clear this via GConf by reseting the "last_channel" value to an all-day station. Is there a fix for this, or some way to stop it using the last channel at start up?

I'm running me-tv 1.0.0 on Ubuntu 9.04.
