Bug Description

Binary package hint: syncevolution

Hi,
I tried to install and setup sync-ui.
when I run it is first time I was able to choose service (myFunambol), inter account and password.
After this I choose remove all data on server.
and now when I try to start sync-ui It is open for second and close.
In terminal I received message:
$sync-ui
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I'm getting a segmentation on AMD64 as well.

I had successfully synced evolution with myfunambol server, and days later after making updates on my mobile device am unable to sync with evolution again.

I've captured the output of

$ strace sync-ui

and will provide upon request.

I did not find a core file.

Have the same problem here with AMD64 under 9.10. It first worked well and suddenly sync-ui crashes immediately with a segfault. The log shows

montreal kernel: [ 79.032405] sync-ui[3556]: segfault at 490 ip 00007f202380073b sp 00007fff50b80b00 error 4 in libgobject-2.0.so.0.2200.2[7f20237db000+44000]

I also replicate with a funambol server.

same problem here

Only way to get it work again: go to /home/username/.cache/syncevolution and delete all its content.
than delete all your appointments, tasks, notes and contacts in evolution

Than it works again.. not really an already usable application... pitty...

I also noticed that all post-adresses are gone

I sync with funambol server

Hope we/you/they can work it out, i would like to switch from thunderbird to evolution...
