how do i get rid of bugs

I am constantly having to "force quit" my window's !!! , my web-site pages are ALWAYS freezing..... Sometimes, I have to 'unplug' my tower completely !!!... Whats up ?... I spend most of my Time on FaceBook, so thats where a LOT of this happens, bit I even had to change who I have my e-mail account with because, I could not open, or even LOOK at mail, and am having a hard time getting to some sites that require my password.. It keeps tripping and asking for it over and over. I dont know if that is a bug, or some kind of hakker ?... How do you get rid of bugs ?

My Linux system is 8.04... I am new to this system, (about4 month now)... Is there anything I can do to get rid of the bugs ?

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.

You can start the profile manager with the following command:
firefox -ProfileManager
