Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Ubuntu 9.10 - When changing the volume control slider either from the master control in notification area or within Rhythmbox the sound distorts badly and I have to play with the control until you find a level that allows it to play clearly. I am using a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card which is identified in the system as a CS4614/22/24/30. It was working fine in 9.04.

Could someone be so kind and give me a link to that already reported bug.
PS: This issue doesn' t only affect rhy.box, since every musicplayer is contaminated by this bug in 9.10.
