empathy does not always remove the indicator message when clicked

Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

When I focus the chat with new messages, empathy should automatically remove the entry in the indicator applet.
It currently removes it only if I click on the indicator entry.

I can't reproduce this. This bug should have been fixed with 2.28.0.1-1ubuntu3, which the bug report shows you had installed. Had you maybe updated empathy and not restarted it yet? Can you please confirm this behavior.
