Bug Description

The input-window for username and password disappears at startup. The "loading"-window appears and shows the hdd-symbol. Then nothing happens. I am still able to enter my password but blind. After typeing the password an pressing return the "loading" window in kde start to show the rest of the icons (desktop environment and the big K). Theses icons will not appear fully they are blurry all the time. Then the desktop loads and everything is fine.

No problem for my system because i am the only one one this machine but chaning the username on login would be difficult.
I post information about the login-package because i think this is the problem, if not please tell me witch package.

I do not know what fixed the bug, but the bug is not in shadow.

Given the description, it seems related to kde. I don't really know which of the kde packages manage the logins or if the bug is on the kde session management, so I reassign to kdebase.

affects: shadow (Ubuntu) → kdebase (Ubuntu)
