Binary package hint: gvfs
Rhythmbox doesn't seem to see my external USB DVD writer, which I'm trying to use to extract an audio CD. I can see the drive in devkit-disks --dump, but not in gvfs-mount -li.

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable release - Oneiric Ocelot.
