I have frequent flickers here as well, using nvidia drivers, but no blanc screen. So when it flickers, you never know whether it is just a flicker or today's crash...

I'm not entirely certain what you mean by "flickers often" as you provided such a short description of the problem, but there is a known bug 441638 which has similar symptoms so I'll mark this a dupe of that. If that's incorrect, please fix the description to be more precise.
