This is a new upstream version. Do you have a list of changes between the current Karmic version (20090617) and the Debian one (20090930)? Any new features/UI changes there, or just bug fixes?

it's only a bug fix release.

from the git log in upstream[1], there are only two commits between 20090617 and 20090930, both of them are fixing the crash bug[2].

the debian packaging only introduce a standards version change[3]
