kget causes Xorg to use maximum available CPU

Bug Description
When kget is downloading files with it's status (main) window open (not minimised), then my Xorg usage jumps to 98%. It goes back to normal if I minimise the kget window, or stop the downloads. This happens whether "use animation" is selected or not.
