Bug Description

I don't know what happens exactly but the error ocurrs into a virtual pc machine run into virtualbox 3.8.

I run a full installed version of Ubuntu 9.04 and a full version of
Windows XP3 with no problems.

As an experiment I installed virtualbox under Windows XP3 and installed
Ubuntu 9.04 in virtualbox.
And all in a 2GB USB drive. And it worked.
The problem is that with such limited memory as 2GB it is impossible to
install any updates without damaging the set up
and so I have not done so.
The version of Ubuntu 9.04 is the unmodified version from the ISO image
(or CD) that is available for download.

So I thank you for your work but I do not know how I can install the new
package.
