Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
Ubuntu 9.10 beta + all upgrades.
After recent upgrades the slider under the sound applet cannot be moved by a mouse and after each login the sound is minimized, no matter how it was set before.
However, the sound can be adjusted by keyboard mutimedia keys. Once this is done, the slider behaves properly.
The bug seems to be identical with Bug #20793
