Bug Description
I installed Karmic beta with a USB-key using UNetBooting and the regular desktop live cd.
When booting, I get the following message :
"usb_id[XXX] unable to access : /devives/
It stays on screen for 5-10 seconds (I almost had time to write it down by hand before it disappeared)
Then, I get a 1 or 2 messages like "fsck [ OK ]". Then xplash launches and boot continues
The following might be unrelated :
Most of the time, the desktop will not load, it shows the background image after everything else faded out, and a working mouse pointer. I then hit CTRL+ALT+F1, log in, do sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart and everything works.
