Bug Description

The "Preferences" item on the right-click menu doesn't end with "...".

I believe that it should, based on my reading of the Gnome HIG here:
http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/hig-diff/menus-design.html

Now I'm uncertain about whether or not this should have an ellipsis. Some of my other applets have it, and some don't. The volume control applet doesn't have an ellipsis, so perhaps it would be better to copy that, as I would imagine that the Ubuntu people wouldn't miss something on such an important applet.

I've decided to close this bug. My reading of the Gnome HIG must be wrong, or perhaps there's a newer version or something.

The HIG says to only use ellipsis when further input is *required*. http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/controls-buttons.html.en

"Use an ellipsis (...) at the end of the label if the action requires further input from the user before it can be carried out. For example, Save As... or Find.... Do not add an ellipsis to commands like Properties, Preferences, or Settings, as these open windows that do not require further input."
