Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When I activate Scale, my windows scale and the background fades. However, the
windows finish scaling well before the background finishes fading. They should
finish at the same time, for a tighter feel.

Note: I am using version 1:0.8.3+git20091005-0ubuntu5 (karmic)
The behavior is the same in Ubuntu Jaunty.

My "speed" for the scale plugin is set to 2.000 via the CCSM. There is a
checkbox available for "Darken Background", but no option to set the speed for
darkening the background (this shouldn't be needed anyway, since the two speeds
should be the same).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
